The last few years have been a very strange few years with covid – In early 2019 we decided we were going to go fully remote by 2020, at this point we didn’t know that most companies would be forced to do the same! We were lucky that we had already started the planning process for this in advance!
The idea behind going remote is that we’re not limited to a premies and as such won’t need to keep moving premises as we grow – it’s just far more scalable right?
We initially trialed a work at home Friday and it was a massive success with productivity actually going up (we were hoping for the same). So we gradually rolled it onto Thursdays too – before Covid forced us to do it every day.
We are now at a position where we can scale up quick, with great extensive training for our new team members.
In 2022 a lot of people employ web developers remotely and this works well for some, however a lot of companies and agencies don’t know how to manage a web team because they know nothing about making websites – and nor do they want to!
So we’re launching a new service to help fill in this gap – the cost for the MyDevTeam Agency is especially the same cost you would pay to employ a junior developer. However our service gets you communication with someone who speaks plain english – and then manages the web work for you. And will developed by an OrbitCarrot team member with years of experience.
We offer two other Tiers MyDevTeam One – for startups and small business with one website – this comes in about a 3rd of the cost of employing a junior developer.
And Lastly MyDevTeam Medium – for medium business who have up to 3 websites in their organisation. This one comes in at half the cost of employing a junior website.
